On Sunday, July 6, Mysterious Galaxy will host former USN Captain George Galdorisi for a signing of his new release, “Tom Clancy’s Op-Center: Out of the Ashes.” This continuation of Tom Clancy’s series was written by the team who wrote the New York Times Bestselling novel, “Act of Valor.” The authors include Dick Couch, Steve Pieczenik, and Galdorisi. Fans of the series will find Galdorisi’s discussion entertaining, and possibly frightening.

In “Out of the Ashes,” the covert force known as the Op Center is reinstated after terrorists detonate bombs in sports stadiums throughout the country. Only the Op Center is aware that the explosions are part of a lethal threat brewing in the Middle East in the form of a renegade Saudi Prince with ambitions of controlling the world’s oil supply. Will the Op Center be able to stop America from attacking Syria and launching a war against Iran? Or, prevent a sleeper cell from attacking the America homeland to prevent a bloodbath?

Publishers Weekly said, “Fans of the original Op-Center series created by Tom Clancy and Steve Pieczenik will welcome this solid continuation from Couch (SEAL Team One) and Galdorisi (Coronado Conspiracy) . . . This thriller procedural packs plenty of pulse-raising action.”

The event will be held at Mysterious Galaxy, 7051 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, Suite 302, San Diego beginning at 2:00 p.m. on July 6. For more information, visit the Mysterious Galaxy website at
