P.G. Sturges signs Angel’s Gate

On Apr. 12 at 7:00 p.m., P.G. Sturges will sign his latest Shortcut Man novel, “Angel’s Gate.” Associated Press said that the latest novel is “filled with enough dark humor and shady characters to satisfy the most rabid noir fan.” The Shortcut Man becomes involved in a case about the disappearance of an aging but still amorous Los Angeles movie mogul who keeps a stable of young starlets available for his highly ritualized attentions. This time, Kate’s life is falling apart. She’s wrecked her race car, sent a Nascar star to the hospital, lost her cool on-camera, and discovered her boyfriend with a friend of hers—who happens to be dead. In addition to his columns on Examiner.com, Terry Ambrose (terryambrose.com) also writes mysteries and suspense. In a review of his latest novel, The San Francisco Book Review said, “On all levels License to Lie justifiably earned this five star rating!”
