One can only wonder if it’s the current designer clothing sale of New York-based fashion designer Thakoon Panichgul – who has dressed First Lady Michelle Obama – that has sent the Amazon.com website MYHABIT to page 1 of Alexa.com’s “What’s Hot” list as of this writing.
The fact that Michelle Obama recently wore a dress from the Jason Wu for Target collection certainly made news around the world.
And MYHABIT’s newly launched “designer” tab on the discount designer website is proving popular, with Amazon.com customers enjoying the ability to make purchases using their Amazon.com credentials to sign in (Amazon customer payment options and shipping addresses are automatically imported into new members’ accounts).
There are plenty of “Sold Out” labels on the “Events Ending Soon” shoes section under the link marked “Women” on the MYHABIT site – and it’s no wonder, since the site launched 80% off of pumps in February 2012.
Amazon’s MYHABIT is one of the free, membership-only fashion flash websites that offers updates and reminders of up to 60% off sales to customers via the web or their MYHABIT App for iPhone on a plethora of designer items.
“New sale events start every day and typically run for 72 hours; product inventory is limited and is available on a first-come-first-serve basis,” writes Amazon about their popular website.
“MYHABIT is Amazon’s new private fashion and home sale site, offering up to 60% off hand-picked styles from designer and boutique brands, featuring apparel, shoes, jewelry, accessories and now home accessories and décor. The new home category features a curated selection of designer sales including bedding and bath, tabletop, cookware/ bakeware, small appliances, accent furniture, lighting and pet accessories,” Amazon states.
The website also offers 360-degree video of the clothing on live models – along with fast, free shipping and free return shipping in the United States on eligible items; and fast, $15 international shipping to 50+ countries.
