Continued from Part 1
With recent political progress in the long-isolated country, Myanmar is quickly turning into Asia’s latest travel hotspot, with particular appeal for families, luxury travelers, couples and honeymoons.
One of the country's main draws are its stunning coastlines and beaches which have been spared the worst of the backpacker party scene that has overtaken most beach resorts elsewhere in South East Asia.
Some of the country’s other attractions include ancient heritage and archeological sites, such as the temple complex at Bagan, and a famously warm and welcoming culture, all of which remains unspoiled and undiscovered, and offers a uniquely authentic experience for visitors.
Kevin McKenzie, of MyanmarBurma.com, said:
“Myanmar is by far the most exciting destination in Asia right now. It has all the beauty, history and culture of the more popular South East Asian countries but with none of the region’s crowds and oversaturated tourism industries.
"Now is definitely the time to visit and we’re looking forward to showing our six winning contestants everything this beautiful country has to offer.”
San Francisco world travelers can reach almost anywhere in the world from local SFO International Airport.
