The video of my walk up Eutaw street has caused quite a stir amongst some people so I decided to to take it to the next level and walk down a more controversial street. On Friday I walked down Druid Hill Avenue starting at North Avenue on my way to my interview with the Baltimore Rapport. My walk took me through Druid Heights, Marble Hill, and the McCulloh Homes housing project. I also walked by Bethel AME church where Sheila Dixon Joan Pratt belong. I saw many politically related subjects on my walk and I commented on them in my classic way. Most people in the Baltimore area have never even driven on this major street. The amount of empty houses and trash would shock a person not from Baltimore. Enjoy:

Wow, you've discovered that the City has bad neighborhoods and you want to blow up the projects. How do you propose to pay for that? You are very good at throwing stones but not at proposing viable solutions.
Those neighborhoods are dumps and are full of people who don't give a sh-t about it. So they're not worth saving. You are too optimistic sir.

No neighborhood is worthy destroying. I can remember the whole area was a jem back in the sixties. The problem is absentee landlords and kid who had inherited their parents home and let them go to crap. "THAT IS THE PROBLEM" Now it is the slum lord preachers, politician and business people who own the properties and don't want to put money into them. Just like the butt holes that own half of chicago they are looking for the big paycheck from the goverment to buy their property so that they can over inflate the price. It is call inmenient domain takeover. I'm glad Chicago did not get the Olympic so that those money grabing thieves did not get the big payday. B-more get your head out your butts or you could be another Detroit or Chicago.

Yes sir, Adam, throw stones, point fingers, ruffle feathers, and step on their toes every chance you get. We need to impede the corrupt elements of the Baltimore elite without pause. Shine the light on them. Evil likes the dark. For too long they have operated freely without challenge. And if they fall; they just fall - not our problem. There was life in Baltimore before there was a Bethel AME and there will be life in Baltimore when Bethel AME is gone.

You need more work to reach the level of moore wannabe ..He does have an impact and you come off as a wannabe student ... I talked with Adam when I was a guest on the Mark Steiner Show and he called in . He and his friends have a lot of great ideas, and solutions. Too bad the Housing Authority of Baltimore City is not more willing to work with creative people like him. I have renovated several hundred houses in the city over the past 30+ years but all I havae seen is more decline. I have done my part, now I older and tired ,and plan to leave the hard work for others.
My Grandmother lived there 40 years ago on Druid Hill. It was not such a great place then. I got into a fight with a 14 year old boy when I was 8. I bit his arm. Another time three boys about 12 or 13 picked up these stones and they said you better run, because we're getting ready to hit you. Stones were flying everywhere. Baltimore is finished as a city. Let it go. Some parts fall down and the Whites flee. It's happened everywhere.

Your unflinching love of Baltimore certainly shows. However, you cannot insult the poor (on the other hand, skewering city government is fair game). It is not the poor who will fix up Druid Hill Avenue. The poor live in the projects because that is where there is to live. I would say enlist them to improve their surroundings. Why not a mural painting crew from the projects? It might interest viewers if you featured some of the people who like it there. You're sure to find someone who wants to show the heart beating under all that bad vibe.
Adam, a white male is pointing fingers and will get results, and notoriety. HABC may respond to him because he is white. Black Baltimoreans have pointed out these same problems. Complaints sound much better coming from Adam. I predict, a great job and lots of money for Adam. Hey Adam, did you fix DC ?
