My take on Roach, Ariza, Bradley, Top Rank, and Mayweather

There's certainly plenty to say about this group of men. Freddie Roach who's current HBO documentary, ''On Freddie Roach'' is absolutely terrific. If you haven't been tuning into the show you are missing some fantastic behind the scenes action on the life of Freddie Roach.

Roach is a unique person. He's living with Parkinson's disease and the show profile's his struggles with it both behind the scenes and out in the public. He's an amazing guy, and he should be commended for how he is handling it all.

Two episodes back, the viewers got to see a tender and caring side of Freddie that those who know him haven't really seen before. He cried for his brother Pepper after learning that Pep suffered a stroke. Roach is a good man. He may not be perfect, but who the heck is?

Alex Ariza, the strength and conditioning coach for the Wild Card big guns such as Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan, and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, has been taking some heat from the media as of late.

Obviously Ariza is an expert in his field, otherwise he wouldn't be working with the sports top athletes. He's known to fire from the hip, and he's definitely not on Bob Arum's Birthday card list. Ariza recently blasted Bob Arum on his Twitter page accusing the Top Rank boss man of trying to get Pacquiao to fire him.

I think if there's anything that I have learned about Team Pacquiao, it's virtually impossible to get fired from that team. Ariza smacked Koncz right in the face a few years back and he survived that little incursion. Koncz survived 19 times over and he's still employed. Getting fired from Team Pacquiao is not so easy for whatever reasons.

Timothy Bradley, the US Veteran, the world champion who served in Iraq gets his shot at Manny Pacquiao. I like this pick. If it's not going to be Mayweather, I am glad to see Bradley get his shot. This is no cake walk for Manny Pacquiao and I like the fact that he signed on to fight a young, tough, fast, champion in his prime. It shows that the Pacman does take on all comers.

Top Rank, for let's say ''business reasons'' keeps kicking the can down the road as it pertains to Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather. If they aren't ready to cash out Manny at least they gave him a worthy opponent in Tim Bradley. This should be a competitive fight, a fight that I think Pacquiao will win in the end.

Floyd Mayweather Jr will face Miguel Cotto. My question is, which Miguel Cotto will show up? We all pretty much know which Floyd Mayweather will show up.

Cotto took a beating Vs. Antonio Margarito in the first fight. He showed in the 2nd fight that perhaps the accusations against Margarito and illegal gloves may have had merit. Cotto got some ''get back'' and whooped Margarito soundly in their second meeting.

Cotto has been in some wars, and when you combine the two fights Vs. Margarito, and the beating he took from Manny Pacquiao, I'm not sure he's going to be able to deal with Floyd Mayweather.

Cotto is good for boxing, a class act, and deserves the payday. With that said, Floyd will more than likely defeat him. If Floyd does win, he will have another good fight story to share with his cell mates when he reports to prison. Hopefully Floyd comes out a more humble person.

I will say this, Floyd deserves props for feeding the homeless, and for the hundred thousand dollars he donated for cancer research. Floyd has good qualities that the media tends to not report. But I refuse to turn my back on Floyd's good deeds. If I can slap him around for his faults, I can also lift him up for his good deeds.

Mayweather Vs. Cotto and Pacquiao Vs. Tim Bradley? Yea, I'll take it. It's not the super fight, but I like both fights.
