My Sweet Love Dolls recalled by Walmart due to burning issue

Walmart has issued a recall of over 174,000 My Sweet Love/My Sweet Baby Cuddle Care Baby Dolls after it was found that the circuit boards in their chests could overhead and burn consumers. According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been at least 12 complaints including two burns or blisters to thumbs.

Consumers are being warned to stop using the 16-inch electronic dolls immediately, remove the batteries, and return it to any Walmart Store for a refund.

The dolls, sold exclusively at Walmart stores from 2012 to the present, retail for $20, and are manufactured by Ngai Electronics Toy Co. of China.
