Romance and crime-solving combine when Rachel Blanchard (“Clueless”) and Emmy nominee Cameron Mathison (“All My Children,” "Window Wonderland," "The Christmas Ornament") star as an unstoppable husband-and-wife private eye team alongside Emmy nominee Jack Wagner (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” "When Calls the Heart"). “My Gal Sunday” is based on the book of short stories by New York Times bestselling author Mary Higgins Clark. Clarks' daughter Carol and granddaughter Elizabeth also have parts in the film.

Sandra “Sunday” O’Brien-Parker (Blanchard) is a renowned attorney and private investigator who is newly married to politician Henry Parker (Mathison), retiring White House Secretary of State and former governor of Caliornia. The attractive couple seems to have it all, but their occupations put them in the center of intrigue and scandal.

They also have a terrific relationship with their parents. They were introduced by Sunday's dad Danny (Wagner), Henry’s colleague and Secret Service Agent, at the picturesque Why Worry Ranch in California. They live in an idylic setting near Lake Tahoe.

The story takes place a year after their wedding and Henry gives Sunday a beautiful diamond ring to celebrate their first aniversary. The mood is light as Henry and Sunday drive one vintage car, followed by Danny and Parker's mom Miriam (Janet-Laine Green, "She's the Mayor") in another vintage automobile. While they are en route, Danny and Miriam are suddenly kidnapped.

Parker and Sunday are the first ones on the scene of the crime and they immediately are on the case, which is now personal. The duo believes that they were the real targets as they race against the clock to rescue their beloved parents.

When the kidnapper demands he release of a notorious hit-man from federal prison as a ransom, they are mystified about his motive. Parker and Sunday dig deep into their past to find out their connection to the criminal.. As they uncover his identity, they put their own lives at stake in a suspenseful final showdown.Rachel Blanchard (Sunday O’Brien)

“My Gal Sunday,” is an Entertainment One Television production in association with Randolph Films and Beantown Ranch Entertainment. Emmy Award nominees Howard Burkons (“The Ron Clark Story”) and Brenda Friend (“The Ron Clark Story,” “Joan of Arc”) and Entertainment One’s Ira Pincus (“Goodnight for Justice”) and John Morayniss (“Hell on Wheels,”“Klondike”), Randolph Cheveldave (“The Mystery Cruise”) and Margaret O’ Brien are executive producers. Randolph Cheveldave is producer and Jonathan Schwartz is supervising producer. K.T. Donaldson (“Tom Dick & Harriett”) directs from a script by Burkons.
