Greater Cincinnati's largest animal adoption event is back. After last year's hugely successful inaugural outing, in which nearly 300 homeless pets found new homes, animal rescues and organizations will gather again for the second annual My Furry Valentine.
The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the flexi USA Distribution Center in West Chester.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet hundreds of lovable adoptable animals, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, and small pocket pets. Each adopted animal will go home with a goody bag filled with supplies, treats, toys, and a free flexi retractable leash. Raffles and door prizes will also be available.
More than 40 local animal rescues will be participating in My Furry Valentine, along with several animal advocacy organizations. Visitors will be able to learn about issues surrounding the animal rescue community while also meeting the adorable animals who are waiting for their forever homes. While the main adoption event will be in West Chester, there will also be related adoption events happening at satellite locations throughout the Tri-State area. Click here to see locations near you.
My Furry Valentine is hosted by flexi USA and Cincinnati based pet photography studio phoDOGrapher. Through the annual event, the hosts and sponsors hope to "raise awareness of Greater Cincinnati's homeless animals and the shelters and rescues where they can be found."
