Kim van der Sanden, owner of My Favorite Things (MFT), appears to have the “Midas touch.” From MFT’s popular Who's That Girl? clear stamp sets to the adorable MFT Presents sets, her company definitely has something for everyone.
MFT cards and projects can be spotted in both nationally and internationally stamping, card, and craft magazines. They can also be seen on countless blogs and in numerous web galleries.
One of the keys to MFT’s success has been Kim’s commitment that their images not be limited. She has a pulse on the ever changing market and continues to produce fun and funky images that seem to be a hit with both younger and older stampers.
MFT is also committed to creating “fresh, fun, and completely distinctive” images. For instance, Kim’s teenage daughter, Brianna, was the inspiration behind the sassy B.C. Dzyns line. This line is designed with and for the teen or tween in your life. These sets offer fun images and sentiments with flair.
The Who’s That Girl? line, illustrated by Artist Christy Beckwith, is easily recognizable and very popular. Who's That Girl? is designed without any facial features on purpose, so they are not limited to any race, age or ethnicity. They can literally be every woman. That's why they call her Who's That Girl?, since you make her whoever you would like her to be!
Amanda Baird, Annie LaPoint, Stephanie Fizer, and Sara Williams illustrate stamp sets for MFT Presents. For the men in your life there's a Who’s That Guy? line. And their Flopsey line, Seasonally Yours, MINI Sets, and The Bubble Bin are also popular and fun.

With the support of her truly wonderful husband, Martin, inspirational daughter, Briana, and adorable daughter, Emma, Kim is able to run a successful woman owned company.
Kim also relies on Jody Morrow (a.k.a. Eagle-eye Morrow) to help keep MFT moving forward. She said, “Jody is the most valuable person ever. She instinctively knows what is going to work.”
She has assembled an incredible team of talented individuals who help keep MFT products fresh, funky, and most importantly – original.
Kim said one of her favorite quotes is from a Tori Amos – “There's room for everybody on the planet to be creative and conscious if you are your own person. If you're trying to be like somebody else, then there isn't.”
