My end of season award winners

Coach of the year:

Bruce Arians, Colts: Pete Carroll and a few others are deserving but Arians took a bad situation in which the Colts could have easily given up this season and made them a legitimate playoff team. Kinda crazy the coach of the year could be a guy that's not even really the head coach.

Offensive rookie of the year:

Robert Griffin III, Redskins: He and Andrew Luck have both lived up to expectations but I think the difference in both of their seasons are the turnovers. Andrew Luck has turned the ball over 28 times between interceptions and fumbles and RG3 has just 17. Robert Griffin III also has a higher completion percentage, qb rating and rushing yards. I would actually put Russell Wilson over Luck and 2nd place. Alfred Morris had a great year too!!

Defensive rookie of the year:

Luke Koechly, Panthers: This guy is a tackling machine. I don't think the race for defensive rookie of the year is even close. This is a guy you can build a defense around. The Panthers have pieces in place to be a very good team in the next couple of years.

Offensive player of the year:

Peyton Manning, Broncos: He's definitely back to his old self. He had a great year and its looking like John Elway made a great choice in bringing Peyton Manning in. He helped turn the Broncos into a contender and brought Fantasy relevance back to Denver.

Defensive player of the year:

J.J Watt, Houston: This one was close for me between him, Aldon Smith and Von Miller. In the end I went with Watt because he had more sacks, tackles and passes defended then the other two. I knew that Watt's numbers would go up with Mario Williams leaving town but I didn't expect this.

M.V.P. & Comeback player of the year

Adrian Peterson, Vikings: With him the Vikings are a 3 or 4 win team. He has carried them single on his shoulders to the playoffs. And he is doing this off a reconstructed knee. This has been the best season I have seen from a running back in my lifetime. I think when all is said and done Adrian Peterson will be thought of as one of the 3 or 4 best running backs ever.
