My Comprehensive List of Second Hand Stores in Bloomington-Normal

See also

In the past few months I’ve taken the time to visit some second hand stores in Bloomington-Normal. I wrote about some of them in an article called Family Saving Through Second Hand Shopping and a follow up articled called More Family Saving At Thrift and Consignment Stores. The more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of creating a single list of second hand shops in Bloomington-Normal.

The list is going to include a variety of second hand stores such as consignment stores, thrift stores, and pawn shops. I’ll list them based on the type of goods they sell and in alphabetical order. My plan is to create the list and add to it over time. So if you notice a place missing, let me know and I’ll add it. I also plan to add some stores in surrounding communities.

Without further delay, here it is: My Comprehensive List of Second Hand Stores in Bloomington-Normal.

Reader’s Suggestions

If you have a suggestion of a second hand store in the Bloomington-Normal area, let me know and I will add it to the list.

Disclaimer:

I am not associated with any of the businesses listed. I did work with a guy who's wife use to own Momma G's. But I ran into him in the hallway and he said she sold it recently. Oh yea, a guy a work with plays in the band with the guy who works at Monster Pawn. I think his name is Ed. I went to one of their gigs once and enjoyed the music. That was about four years ago. We didn't talk about his store. Actually, we didn't talk at all. I just clapped at the end of each set. All this goes to say that I don't receive any money, perks, influences or incentives to write about these businesses. I just like to find local shopping bargains and pass them on to you.
