Even though platinum selling New Jersey rock band My Chemical Romance have called it quits after nearly 12 years, it doesn't mean that its members aren't cooking something good for their loyal fans. Bassist Mikey Way, along with Justin Siegel (ex-Stars In Stereo) and Dave Debiak (New London Fire), formed Electric Century. The band gained some quick buzz from Alternative Press' annual 100 Band You Need to Know issue. You can check out their debut track entitled "I Lied" over at AltPress.com and pick up the single on iTunes if you like what you hear. The band's debut album is set to drop later this year.

Frank Iero has always dabbed into other projects aside from MCR with Leathermouth and his recent collaboration with Reggie and the Full Effect mastermind James Dewees entitled Death Spells. The guitarist has dropped a brand new solo tune entitled "B.F.F.". The thing which makes this tune special is that Frank recorded this with his three year old twin daughters Cherry and Lily. If that doesn't make you smile, the accompanying music video, which can also be seen on AltPress.com, features his daughters joyfully singing along with him while wearing ski masks. Proceeds from the single will go directly towards college funds for Cherry, Lily and their little brother Miles. You can head over here to pick it up.
