My Bloody Valentine has finally released their long awaited third studio album, "MBV." The Dublin based band released their last album, the critically acclaimed "Loveless," in 1991.
The band posted Saturday on their Facebook page, "We are preparing to go live with the new album/website this evening. We will make an announcement as soon as its up."
The website, mybloodyvalentine.org, immediately crashed when it went live. A petition was made shortly after on whitehouse.org stating simply, "Whereas the My Bloody Valentine website isn't working and there's a new record on it, we the people hereby petition the Obama administration to make it work again."
The website is now back up and running and the band posted their new album in full on YouTube.
The 9-track LP is available to purchase as a digital download, on CD and on 180 gram vinyl. The album may be bought here.
The band will play the UK in March. No tour has been announced yet for North America.
