'MX vs ATV Supercross' is making sure its licenses are sufficient for you

There is nothing more important in any racing or sports games than authentic licenses. It is very hard to feel the total experience of the game if it lacks authenticity. Big Bang Entertainment is making sure this is not the case by providing over 80 different licensed products in MX vs ATV Supercross. President and CEO Ken George wants to make sure you can customize your rider and bike with the same gear, parts and graphics kits you can buy at a local bike store or online. This also will include wheels, tires, and exhaust kits.

The actual bikes are a big concern, too. There will be OEM bikes in the game, but at this time George cannot confirm the list due to a few pending contracts. He does state that he couldn’t be happier about the OEM lineup, and that when the final contract is complete, they will have a special announcement regarding it. There will be a career mode that will allow all the upgrades and bike graphics to be unlocked. Add to this the many different classes of bikes from 250cc to 450cc across a 17 race season.

As for the 80 different licensed products, Big Bang Entertainment had to turn some others down. The idea behind limiting potential licenses was to make sure that any product outside the sport would not be involved. According to Ken George, including these would make the game feel "out of place" for the fans. However, with 80 authentic brands in the game, MX vs ATV Supercross looks to capture the feel of bike racing.

MX vs ATV Supercross will release August 7th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, OS X, and Linux. It will retail for $29.99.
