Write the World’s Shortest Horse Tale.
The Midwest Horse Fair is holding a contest this year, inviting entries for the World’s Shortest Horse Tale contest. All contest entries must be exactly six words long and describe the writer’s experience with horses.
The grand prize is a Fantasy Midwest Horse Fair Experience for the 2014 event:
- Two 3-day admission passes
- Friday and Saturday VIP reception tickets for you and a guest
- Two tickets to the Friday and Saturday PRCA Rodeos with a special VIP introduction
- Hotel room for the weekend
- Publication of the winning story in the 2014 Official Midwest Horse Fair Program
Second place for the Midwest Horse Fair’s World’s Shortest Horse Tale contest earns:
- Two 3-day admission passes to the fair
- $50 Midwest Horse Fair gift card
Third place receives:
- Two 1-day admission passes
- $30 Midwest Horse Fair gift card
Each fourth through sixth place winner in the Midwest Horse Fair’s World’s Shortest Horse Tale contest will be given two one-day admission passes to the fair.
The Midwest Horse Fair’s World’s Shortest Horse Tale contest closes at midnight on Friday, January 31. Entries are limited to six per person. Contest participants enter by completing an online form.
All entries will be considered Midwest Horse Fair property upon submission and may be used in Midwest Horse Fair promotional materials, the Midwest Horse Fair website, on social media, in emails, and at the three-day equine expo.
Contest winners will be notified via email on Monday, March 3, 2014.
The 2014 Midwest Horse Fair, themed “Horse Tales,” takes place April 11 to 13 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
