Later my friend upgraded to a GT, and finally the SVT Cobra. The first ride in the SVT was similar to how Nasa launches rockets, except we launched our rocket on a closed road leading out of a small farm town. There were no massive fuel tanks, only grain silos. No crowds cheering, just corn breezing in the wind from our Ford inspired space shuttle. All three Mustangs were amazing machines, and I will never forget the experience of riding in them. One of the best features of the Mustang is the capability for amazing burnouts. Even with drag slicks, the highly modified Mustang lit up the tires and was blowing smoke like nobody's business. Smoke still pouring out long after the deed is done, you can imagine the amount of friction caused between the tire and pavement. A picturesque scene like a dream come true, the Mustang stands proudly against it's recently accomplished task of separating rubber. The poor drive way!
