If you know me in real life, you're probably rolling your eyes because I'm talking about Astronautalis AGAIN.
I can't help it, y'all. If you don't know about Astronautalis, its the hip hop project of Andy Bothwell. Yes, hip hop. Andy is well-educated, well-brought up, and one bad ass rapper. You wouldn't expect the complexity of lyrics and flows to come out of this dude's mouth.
He's recently dropped a new album, and it is FABULOUS. I've been following Andy and his career for longer than I even realized. I thought I had first seen him at an itty bitty show out back of Parts and Labour during SXSW in 2008, but I soon realized that he had done a circuit on Warped Tour back in 2004. My ears were just meant for his tunes I suppose.
ANYWAY, I am writing to persuade you and beg of you to GO TO THIS SHOW. Even if you aren't "into" hip hop, GO. Its a $10 pre order, its an earlyish show (doors at 7 pm), and your mind will be blown. How can you say no?!
