According to a Mar. 5 report in “All App News”, “Starbucks” has just introduced the new version of its free app. Its now a lot easier to see your Rewards: just look below the cup or in your Rewards History.
There's also new food and drink updates. Also, the error that appeared after you downloaded the Pick of the Week is now gone.
The best part is now store locations are integrated with Apple Maps. Just tap Stores and instantly you'll see a map of all the Starbucks' stores near you. Tap a location and you'll get directions, phone number, hours open, whether it provides a wireless hotspot and lots more. Free.
“Sing! Karaoke” has just gotten a huge update. This global karaoke party app lets you sing your favorite songs from a catalog of top hits and then share them with your friends.
Thanks to a major navigation update it's easy to find your performance. A new tab has been added to your newsfeed so you will see who's inviting you to join them in a song. It's also a lot easier now to find who's hot. And Search has been upgraded so you can now search for a user without knowing the entire username. Plus, a rewind feature has been added so now you can go back and listen to that chorus again.
This app is free, but a song is 99 cents (this app has to pay royalties to the music companies). But you don't have to pay 99 cents when you join other users' performances. Or you can just listen for free, like a radio station. If you can subscribe and get unlimited access to sing songs for just $1.99 a week, or $4.99 a month, or $24.99 a year.
