When musicians Steve Reeder and Dave Matthews first met, they realized they had a few things in common, like a passion for making wine at least as strong as their passion for drinking it. So the talented duo headed to Sonoma, the heart of California's wine country, looking for a way to make affordable quality wines' Along the way, they found inspiration in the down-to-earth characters and unforgettable flavors that give the region its rare kind of charm.

And thus smooth and rich Dreaming Tree Crush wines were born with a price tag of $15, perfect for todays 'sequestered' folks on a budget. Named after the Dave Matthews Band song "Crush," the red blend is perfect bottle for sharing with a crush or loved one.

We opened a bottle of red last night and man was it good with notes of raspberry jam and smokey berry. The wine actually pairs well with fish or meat--we had it with salmon one night and steak another time. It's also ideal for before or during dinner, or even after if you feel so inclinded.
