Musical Ghosts - A Blast From The Past

Many of the artists from the past have re-emerged recently. Some because of the tours they are beginning and others because of the members of the group. One particular way is through a show that came to Centre Stage called “Rock n Roll Heaven”. It is this type of project that really brings the music alive for those who may not have lived through it.
“Rock 'n Roll Heaven, a foot-pounding romp through musical time, has moved in on Centre Stage. The show honors rock legends who might still be making music from a celestial stage including Dusty Springfield and Bill Haley, from Sam Cooke to Jim Croce to Jimmy Hendrix. Performers include a star from the Broadway tour of Fame, studio artists from Nashville and Los Angeles, actors from major network television shows like Seinfeld and The Simpsons, according to Centre Stage Marketing Director Tim Brosnan.”
Centre Stage is certainly a place to watch for local fare. Musical performances such as Rock n Roll Heaven make it a great way to spend an evening. It is centrally located to downtown Greenville and pretty good parking is available. The box office can be reached at 864.233.6733. The theater is located at 501 River Street inside the Citi Smith Barney building just one block off Main Street in downtown
Greenville. For more information, visit the Web site at CentreStage.org.
