The musical revival of Marx Brothers' Animal Crackers comes to Denver for an entertaining and hilarious end to the season at Denver Center's Theatre Company.

Laughter is the cure for dealing with today's economic hardships, and Animal Crackers promises no shortage in delivery. The musical uses one-liners and slapstick comedy to convey the comedic theft of a painting from a dinner party.

Songs in the mix include “The Long Island Low-Down,” “Go Places and Do Things,” and “Watching the Clouds Roll By” among many others added to the production over the years' previous revivals.

It all happens April 4-May 11. Performances for Animal Crackers start at 6:30pm Tuesdays-Thursdays, at 7:30 on Fridays/Saturdays, and 1:30 for weekend matinees. Tickets and further information are available online. The show runs roughly 2-hours, 10 minutes long, including an intermission of 15 minutes.
