The little town of Lyndhurst is getting a special visit by ex-My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero. A little record store making its grand opening on Sep. 3 is being run by Frank's old high school teacher, and decided to do him a favor coming in for the opening. Frank'll be performing live between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.
Blink-182 announced last week that they'll be reopening the Wellmont Theater in Montclair on Sep. 6. "This is a huge win for the music scene," says Zack Duignan of Could It Kill upon hearing of the announcement. "It represents that Jersey pride in its music will not be stifled, especially in the wake of so many closings."
