The 11th annual Music is Art Festival, supporting the organization founded by Goo Goo Dolls member Robby Takac, comes to Delaware Park, near the Marcy Casino, on Saturday, September 21st. Hours for the free event are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The festival started in 2003 and has grown on annually to become one of Buffalo’s largest exhibits of music, art and dance. The 11th annual festival will feature more than 100 bands on eight stages along with artists, three live DJ stages, performance artists, dancers, a kids village, food and beverages, and more.
Volunteers are still needed for the festival – shifts are just four hours and available in a number of areas, including auction crew, beer tent (21 and over only), clean up crew, Kids Village, merchandise tent, set up crew, VIP area, volunteer services and the water kiosk. The complete lineup of bands for the Music Is Art Festival will be available at musicisart.org.
