An Intimate Evening with Noel Paul Stookey is set for Saturday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m. at the historic Casa Antigua in Key West to benefit the Florida Keys Council of the Arts.
Stookey of the iconic folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary will perform and share his new music with his beloved Keys' audience at the Casa Antigua, 314 Simonton Street.
Tickets are $45 per person and include the post-concert reception where music lovers can meet the legend.
Together for over 50 years in music and life, the Peter, Paul and Mary folk singing group are remembered as much for their social activism as they are for their music.
In the abundant, lush gardens of Casa Antigua, founding member of the trio Stookey will weave a compelling tapestry of familiar melodies, moving memories and selections from his recently released and much acclaimed “ONE&MANY” CD to benefit the programs of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts. “I look forward to sharing these new songs, some of which had their premiere a year ago in Key West,” said Stookey, “as well as the stories behind them.”
As many in his audience know, royalties from his classic “Wedding Song” go to the Public Domain Foundation, where nearly $2 million has been put to work for charitable causes.

Sponsors are Hard Rock Café and Conch Color. A reception following the concert is sponsored by the Hard Rock Café. Casa Antigua is home to Conch Color publisher Tom Oosterhoudt, who is hosting the event in support of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts: 305.295.4369; www.keysarts.com.
