After months of waiting for some sign of news about this year's LouFest, the event organizers have finally heeded the call of Saint Louis' music scene and released the one thing fans want most of all. That one thing is a full schedule for LouFest 2014.
Why so much anxiety over a schedule? Often times, a full schedule can spell the difference between attending an event and missing out on it. And since LouFest entertains across multiple stages, it's always smart to plan ahead what shows are humanly possible to see in a weekend without being in multiple places at one time.
LouFest 2014 in Forest Park runs through September 6 and 7. There will be four stages across which their full line-up will be playing that weekend: Forest Park Stage; Bud Light Stage; BMI Stage; Shade Stage.
The full 2014 schedule can be found at the LouFest website. A few highlights involve Arctic Monkeys and Cake bringing it on Saturday and Outkast undoubtedly bringing the weekend to its big finale Sunday night on the Bud Light Stage. Shows run each day from the afternoon to ten at night.
Other acts include Matt & Kim, Grouplove, Pretty Little Empire, San Fermin, the 1975, and RAC.
For hopeful LouFest attendees who didn't want to buy full weekend passes, more good news is here. Single-day passes are now on sale at sixty bucks a pop. Two-day passes are still on sale and will cost thirty-five dollars more per person.
Tickets for LouFest are actually sold and exchanged for a pass in the form of a wristband that has to be worn all day by attendees. Exiting and re-entering the festival depends on what kind of ticket is purchased. Any children aged twelve or under can come for free as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
