Today, Sunday, February 24, at 3 p.m. the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Raritan Valley Community College will present a Music Faculty Recital. The concert will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg Campus.
The recital will feature performances by the department’s music faculty, with special guest artist violinist Michelle Brazier (Bound Brook) of RVCC’s English Department faculty. Music faculty participants will include Larry Barbee, guitarist (Whitehouse Station); Michael Eckhart, guitarist (Hillsborough); Stephen Hudson, pianist (Flemington); John Loehrke, bassist (New York City); Margaret Nelson, pianist (Hillsborough); John Sichel, pianist (Mountainside); and Tony Strong, pianist (Long Valley).
"The program will feature a stimulating and entertaining diversity of classical and jazz repertoire, including original works by faculty composers. The audience is invited to remain following the program to converse with the artists."
