Music City Mission's Christmas party for kids: Donations & volunteers accepted

With Christmas just around the corner, compassionate hearts are seeking good causes, and finding ways to give back. As we remember the reason for the season, it is especially refreshing to support causes that share the important meaning behind Christmas. In turn, children and their families, along with the giver, are reminded that the birth of Jesus is what this special season is all about. Whether you choose to give a gift or give of your time, Music City Mission is once again providing a heart-warming opportunity for all of us yet again.

The Annual Christmas party for children (ages 0-13) will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 10 AM-12:30 PM at Concord Community Church of the Nazarene (9826 Concord Road Brentwood, TN 37027).

Last year, and in previous years, the parties have been a massive success. With top-notch entertainment and quality presents provided, numerous children walked away with smiles on their faces, thanks to the Christ-like generosity of the community.

As the good Lord continues to bless Music City Mission, the staff is happy to share that all of the children in need have been adopted, and will be receiving gifts. However, there are still several ways that you can help these children and their families.

MCM is currently in need of other donations: Monetary and household items such as laundry detergent, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and blankets are among the current needs.

This unforgettable day will be one of music, games, treats, fun, and lots of surprises.

“This event, to me is what Christmas is all about. Being able to be the hands and feet of Jesus to hurting families from all around the world and to show them love, joy and hope, I believe is what Jesus has asked us to do,” shared Jennifer Wilkerson of MCM.
