On Friday, June 20, 2014 REM Tribute Band, Slapback will be performing at Michael's, 390 Court Street, Plymouth (508)746-4099. Slapback is a four piece Boston band featuring Michele Gear-Cole on vocals, Steve Cole on bass, Jack Lewis on guitar and David Grutter on drums. On Sunday, June 22, 2014 the Paraditse Rock Club will host the Boston Rocks for Music Drives Us fund raiser. Why "Music Drives Us"? Over the past six years, the Music Drives Us Foundation has helped over 150 organizations throughout New England, as well as partnering with VH1 Save the Music. It is our mission to support Music Drives Us and preserve music programs that make a positive impact in under served communities. "Music Drives Us" is improving the quality of life through the gift of music as music programs worldwide have fallen victim to numerous budget cuts. Music Drives Us has supported very diverse types of programs, supporting music therapy, instrument replacement, and music education.

This year's line up of performers are: James Montgomery with his Supergroup Danny Klein of J Geils, Barry Goudreau formerly of the band Boston, David Hull of Aerosmith & Farrenheit, Charlie Farrenof Balloon & Farrenheit, Hirsh Gardner of New England along with Surprise Guests!

Bands include Shake the Faith, Lizzie Borden and the Axes, The Fighting Cocks and a new band out of Boston Bearstronaut. Opening the show is charlie Farren, Amanda Carr and Jon Finn who will be performing Boston's new Anthem "STRONG."
