A Bit About Clifton Gorge This 2 mile long gorge is composed of dolomite and limestone and has been called one of the finest examples of interglacial and post-glacial canyon cutting. The Gorge features waterfalls and rapids and has been deemed one of the best places in the country to see Spring wildflowers.
