The following article is part of an ongoing effort to help homeless dogs in and around the Toronto/Hamilton area find suitable and loving homes. Sometimes this effort extends even further, since there are so many dogs that find themselves in dire circumstances. Currently, the need is great but the homes are few. Your help is desperately needed.
All Breed Canine Rescue (ABCR) of London, Ontario would like to introduce you to Brauer (nicknamed Mushu), a sweet little Shih Tzu that is 5 years old.
Mushu is a happy little fellow and very friendly. He’ll great you with tail wagging. He loves to be held and cuddled, and will seek out a friendly lap to snuggle on. He’s also a curious little guy and happy to explore the world around him.
About 13 lbs., he is currently learning to walk on a leash and is coming along with his housetraining as well. He enjoys the company of other dogs, both big and small. He also likes the attention of children, although they need to be gentle and calm with him. As we, he likes to wrestle with his doggy toys and search for a treat inside a rolling Kong.
Mushu has been neutered, vaccinated, medicated to prevent heartworms and fleas, and micro-chipped.
If you think you can provide a good home for this sweet boy, send the Adoption Application form on the left side of the website to: allbreedcaninerescue@sympatico.ca. Please put ‘Pet Inquiry: Mushu PFId#22142474’in the subject line.
All Breed Canine Rescue saves dogs (and cats) of all ages, breeds and sizes from the St. Thomas and London city pounds. All dogs are fully vetted and placed in foster homes while they wait for forever homes. ABCR also works within a rescue network and helps dogs in other pounds or shelters when the resources are available. ABCR works with municipalities toward animal welfare initiatives within these communities.
