Museums in Baltimore honor military

Memorial Day is a U.S. national holiday where we remember and honor those military men and women who sacrificed their lives so American’s may live freely. With the currently conflict in the Middle East it’s unusual to know someone who has not been impacted by this war. We must also not forget the men and women who are currently serving in our military in the Middle East, the U.S. and all countries. To honor those individuals and their families many stores, museums, parks, or local events offer discounts or sales to active duty military.

Many museums across the country have formed a partnership called Blue Star Museums. Over 700 museums are doing more to honor these families by offering free admission from this weekend (Memorial Day) through Labor Day.
