With March Madness in the air, The South Carolina State Museum is getting into the act with “Museum Madness” by offering 50% off admission to guests. “Museum Madness will take place every Saturday in March with a different theme each week. On March 22, Children’s Book Day (bring a children’s book for their book drive) and on March 29, Secret Code Day, the secret codes can be obtained off the Museum’s social sites at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+.

The Cotton Mill Exchange museum store is also going “mad” in March. Buy anything in the store on Saturdays in March and receive 50% off of admission that day. Also, every Saturday in March there will be a special BOGO sale on pillows, where shoppers can buy one pillow in the store and get one free.

Please note that due to the ongoing construction project, the Museum’s main entrance (facing Gervais Street) remains closed. Visitors may enter through the parking deck on the west, or river, side of the building.
