Muscle Car Forever stamps (Photos)

First-Class Mail for first-class cars.

Your favorite classics of the ‘60s and ‘70s are now immortalized into Forever postage stamps.

Commissioned by artist Tom Fritz, the United States Postal Service (USPS) stamps were unveiled at Daytona International Speedway on February 16 (along with the 2014 Chevy Impala and 2013 RWD Chevrolet SS models).

Featuring 5 of the most popular muscle cars of all time, the stamps are shown in full street action. As the USPS website declares: “Freedom. Adventure. Burning Rubber.”It’s a fitting tribute to their undeniable appeal of powerful engines combined with incredible styling.

The Forever Muscle Car stamps are:
1966 Pontiac GTO
1967 Shelby GT-500
1969 Dodge Charger Daytona
1970 Chevy Chevelle SS
1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda

These stamps are available in several editions including uncut press sheets, programs and individually framed 13” x 17” ready-to-hang wall art. My choice would be the 26” x 14” framed set, complete with all 5 cars, offered for $69.95.

Remember, these muscle car stamps are Forever, meaning they’re good for life even if the price of postage goes up in the future (more like when).

So, pull a fast one yourself and order a set before they disappear into the sunset.
