Murray leads Husson to 70-49 victory over Thomas

The Husson Eagles women's basketball team used a balanced offensive attack in a a 70-49 victory over Thomas College on Tuesday evening.

The Eagles went on a 21-2 run in the first half to put the game away.

Kelli Murray (Lawrence) recorded18 points (4-6 3-pointers), six assists and five rebounds to lead the Eagles. Stephanie Comstock (Bangor) chipped in with 12 points and eight rebounds.

Hannah Pray (Central) came off the bench to score 12 points. Victoria McIntyre (Central Aroostook) added 10 points.

Husson (2-8/2-4) will host Lyndon State on Friday, January 11th at 5:30 p.m.

Megan Pelletier (Messalonskee) scored 24 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Terriers.

Thomas (3-7/2-5) will host the University of Maine at Farmington on Thursday, January 10th at 7 p.m.
