Murray and Ripley power Panthers to semifinal victory over Foxcroft

Bangor--- The Medomak Valley Panthers outscored the Foxcroft Ponies 29-7 in the final 11 minutes Wednesday evening at the Bangor Auditorium.

John Murray recorded 13 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block to lead the Panthers to a 53-30 victory in the class B semifinal battle with the Ponies.

Murray was named a Mr. Maine basketball semifinalist earlier in the day.

Ryan Ripley scored a game high 21 points (9-17 FG) for the Panthers. Ripley recorded four rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Medomak Valley (18-2) will take on MDI in the class B East final Saturday, February 22nd at 3:45 p.m.

Ryan Rebar led the Ponies with 15 points. Foxcroft finishes the season with a 10-11 record.
