Tonight is the big season one finale of "Murder in the First" on TNT. On Monday, TV Line shared a small spoiler about the finale and also if the show was renewed or canceled. Fans are loving seeing Taye Diggs on television again since his last show "Private Practice" and of course want more from him.

So far there is not any news about if this show will be renewed or canceled. They have not made a decision at all. Viewers will just have to wait for TNT to make a decision and announce it. Hopefully the finale gets enough views tonight to help convince them that it should be renewed for a second season. It does sound like tonight will give viewers some closure. That is great if the show doesn't get renewed.

In the finale, they will be trying to solve the murder of Kevin Neyers. English and Mulligan will find out some huge secrets while trying to look through the suspects on this murder. The finale is called "Blunt the Edge." Even though he got away with murder, it is not over yet and you never know how it could end.

The show went to their Facebook page to share that it is the season finale tonight. They did not actually say it was a series finale and so hopefully that means that they still have hopes it will be back again as well. The fans are talking on the post non-stop and saying how much they want to see another season of it. It does seem to have a pretty big following.

Don't miss the big finale of "Murder in the First" when it airs tonight on TNT. It will be on at 9 p.m. CST in the Oklahoma City area. It will also be re-airing several times this week if you end up missing the first one for some reason.
