Authorities state that Ryan Jenkins, the man identified as a “person of interest” in the murder of swimsuit model and Howard Stern ad girl Jasmine Fiore, may have already slipped across the border into Canada. Ryan Jenkins’ SUV and was found abandoned near the Washington state border with Canada with an empty boat trailer attached. Authorities believe that Jenkins likely boated the ten miles to the Canadian border and then crossed over on foot. Ryan Jenkins’ refusal to submit to questioning raises suspicions about his involvement in Jasmine Fiore’s murder. Jenkins had previously been charged with domestic violence for a physical altercation with Fiore in June.
Jasmine Fiore’s mother Lisa Lepore told reporters that she had always gotten a “bad vibe” from Ryan Jenkins who eloped with Jasmine Fiore at a Las Vegas chapel only days after they met. Lepore described Ryan Jenkins as “really cheap and just weird.”
Ryan Jenkins gained minor celebrity as one of the “millionaires” on VH1’s reality show Megan Wants a Millionaire. On Wednesday, VH1 representatives announced that the show has been pulled from the air out of respect for Jasmine Fiore’s family. Ryan Jenkins was also slated to appear in the VH1 reality show I Love Money 3, which may never reach the air at all.
