Murder of Christopher Dorner and his Legacy: A modern day Robin Hood (Photos)

It is now clear from reports, video and audio they killed Chris Dorner. Christopher Dorner, like Robin Hood, was a yeoman, who was deposed of his land and livelihood and turned into an outlaw by the corrupt and unscrupulous sheriff or lawmen. Like Robin Hood, Dorner was skilled in weaponry and sought to seek redress and justice. They both had one cause in mind, to do the right thing, to help the unfortunate and to clear their names.

The seemingly murder of Christopher Dorner on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 by the Los Angeles Police Department and other law enforcement agencies was steeped in hatred and contempt. A report by CNN involves audio and visuals of law enforcement officers using racial and derogatory names and orders to burn down the cabin in which they assumed Christopher Dorner was inhabited. It seems there was no communication or negotiations for Dorner to give himself up or come out. From the orders by the police to burn that mother**** (referring to Christopher Dorner) it seems they only wanted to kill and get rid of Dorner and keep him from talking and clearing his name. In tapes from CNN you can hear police officers saying “Burn it down. Burn it down. Shoot the gas. Shoot the gas. Get the gas. Burn the gas. Gonna burn it down. Gonna burn it down. Burn that mother f…. down now.” This seems to be an intentional burning alive of Christopher Dorner.

What did the police want to hide? Why did they want to kill Dorner was there something they did not want people to know? It is not understandable that those being paid to defend and protect the laws would be allowed to commit murder to cover-up the wrong that they have done (view video KCAL). If the police officers are too emotionally involved in the situation they should be relieved of their duties when they are unable to be objectionable.

It has just been confirmed that the remains found in the burned cabin are most likely those of Christopher Dorner (CNN). Chris Dorner was burned to death by police. Will someone claim the million dollar reward? Will the investigation of Christopher Dorners’ case be reopened and reviewed or if Dorner is dead, “out of sight out of mind”? When Robin Hood could not find justice within the law he sought justice by other means (BBC history).

Like Robin Hood, Christopher Dorner leaves a legacy. Robin Hood stepped-in when he saw the will of evil lawmen twisting the law arbitrarily in their own favor. The Christopher Dorner legacy teaches us by doing the right thing you are often met with hatred and bigotry. It teaches us that we are still living in an unfair world where some are more equal than others. Dorner tried to do the right thing by coming forward to help the victims that he was sworn as a Police Officer to protect. Instead of being heralded for bravery he was met with contempt, firing and perhaps death by the Police Department. Christopher Dorner teaches us that institutionalized racism and corruption is alive and well in our everyday lives. He teaches us that racial justice is questionable. He may have given his life to bring light to injustice, unfairness and inequality and to help create a more just world. Sympathies go out to the family of Christopher Dorner.
