'Murder 3' movie review, trailer video and box-office report

The Hindi movie "Murder 3" starring Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sara Loren was released across 1350 screens in India and across the world on Feb. 15, 2013.

The movie is an official remake of the 2011 Colombian thriller film "The Hidden Face". This is the first time that the movie franchise had excluded its trademark actor Emraan Hashmi.

The movie earned Rs 4.93 crore on its opening day at the box-office.

Box office trade analyst and well known critic Taran Adarsh gave the movie 4 stars out of 5 and called it one of the finest thrillers from Vishesh Films. He praised Vishesh Bhatt for doing his best in his very first attempt.

Indicine website reported that "Murder 3" has opened to a poor response in the opening shows. The previous installment "Murder2", which had Emraan Hashmi, had an 80-90% opening while the occupancy for the third film was around 30%.

The business is expected to be good for evening shows, but not close to "Murder 2". The movie, made at a budget of Rs 5 crore ($1 million), has a running time 135 minutes.

The movie was produced by Vishesh Films with Fox Star Studios and distributed by Fox Star Studios. The movie was written by Mahesh Bhatt and Amit Masurkar. The music was composed by by Pritam and Roxen (band). The cinematography was by Sunil Patel.
