"Muppets Most Wanted" movie posters are ready to be revealed. The first one for the "Muppets" movie sequel came out Monday (Oct. 28), depicting the cast of characters that include Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais. According to the exclusive release by Entertainment Weekly, the film is slated for a release date of March 21, 2014.
Plot details about the upcoming release have also been revealed, with the gang going up against Kermit’s sinister doppelganger, Constantine. Gervais will play the sidekick to Constantine, Ty Burrell (from "Modern Family") is a mustachioed Interpol agent and Tina Fey stars as a Russian prison guard. They have already released a teaser trailer for the film as well, with the intent to build a lot of buzz for when the movie finally does arrive in late winter.
After the successful reboot of the franchise by Jason Segel, it became pretty obvious that the studio was going to push for a follow-up film pretty quickly. Segel moved on to other projects, but continues to support the franchise publicly. Now it will be interesting for fans to see if the release of "Muppets Most Wanted" can continue that success. The first real movie poster should definitely start sparking the interest of theater-goers right now.
