  • Schottenhammel - This is the most important tent since on the opening day of the Wiesn, at 12 pm , the mayor of Munich, will tap the first keg and call out “O’zapft is!” (the keg is tapped!).

  • Schützen-Festhalle -  A much small tent but famous famous for its food, it still packs a punch.

    • What to order: Bavarian sickling pig prepared in malt beer sauce and served with potato-salad served with your favorite Loewenbraeu beer or non-alcoholic beverage.

  • Kaefer's Wiesnschaenke - It's where world VIPs visiting Oktoberfest hang out. Other tents serve beer until 10:30 p.m. But Kaefers serves until 12:30 a.m.

  • Spatenbraeu-Festhalle (Ochsenbraterie) - Ochsenbraterei does indeed offer an amazing variety of different oxen specialties. One look at the menu and many visitors will be awestruck at the great variety of dishes that can be created with an ox.
