On Tuesday, February 09, 2010, Inmate Number A185245 at Marion Correctional Institution, John Whisonant, will appear before the Ohio Parole Board.
Whisonant was convicted of raping 5 children under the age of 10 and was sentenced to 21 to 75 years in prison. The victims were 4 little girls and 1 little boy.
If this ghoul gets out of jail, he is almost certain to re-offend.
According to Keith F. Durkin, Associate Professor of Sociology at Ohio Northern University, a criminologist and an expert in the study of pedophilia “Their sexual preference is for children. They have a compulsion to molest children. Many, if not all, will molest children until the day they die. They’re dangerous and they’re going to reoffend.”

I am writing this letter because John Whisonant is coming before the Ohio Parole Board on Tuesday, February 09, 2010.
Mr. Whisonant raped five (5) children less than ten (10) years of age, both male and female. This man is a predator and the only way to protect children from harm at his hands is to keep him housed in the Marion Correctional Institution.
This is the same type of offender as Jesse Timmendequas, a repeat child molester. Timmendequas raped and murdered Megan Kanka on July 29, 1994, which inspired Megan’s Law. Repeat child molesters are certain to molest again.
The reason many convicted sex offenders go out and molest more children, say sociologists and criminologists, is similar to why alcoholics continue to drink.

I am the oldest victim of my father john whisonant and everything you are seeing and reading in the media is not true. yes my father molested me and one other sibling that I know of. my father john whisonant never touched my brother. my father didn't have his friends molest me. there was two other men that molested me. y.es he knew them. but they were not friends and none of them knew the other had been molesting me.
