Multiplayer mode to be included in new Luigi's Mansion title

Recently, Nintendo confirmed the 24 March release of Luigi's Masion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. Now the company has confirmed the upcoming game with include a local and online multiplayer mode. A press release further reveals up to four players are able to work together as they encounter paranormal entities in the ScareScraper.

Hunter Mode will place each player in control of a different colored Luigi, and teams will work to hunt down ghosts in a set amount of time. They will earn bonuses and upgrades, and will eventually face a boss of some sort every 5-, 10-, amd 25-floor towers.

The press release also confirms that the new game will be available for $39.99, and will be available as both a disc and Nintendo DS eShop download.
