Evolution is a compromised term since in many cases the cultural process has been simplified and the diachronic development looks like a straight line or a curve. As a matter of fact evolution is like DNA on the spirals of developments. The current technology epoch may ask us to reconsider monolinear spiral of theoretization of cultural development and search for polilinear models of spiral cultural development. Such models create more difficult conclusions, since it is missing a real end. However, it is probably closer to the real life. The people had created the idea of events and historical calendar to break continuity and articulate the social life. Focusing on the event follows by a network of consequitive multilinear spiral developments. Typical is 1989 Berlin Wall event considered as the official end of the Cold War. However, it is a historical event in the calendar but in many segments of society and in many parts of the world it does not have impact or the impact is negative.
The multilinear spiral view on cultural process also helps understand how values develop. If “A” is a negatively embedded value in a certain segment, although it may not be eliminated or removed from this segment, it can be isolated from other lines of cultural process. Corruption, then, is stronger when corrupted valued cells begin to interact and impact not one but more lines of cultural process. Typically, ideologized politics try to impact culture, or culture has been invaded by corrupted cells coming from different sources. If this line of understanding of cultural process is correct, then, positive values can be transmitted in society even if there are many other lines of corrupted values. But this transmission requires secure status of the positive value. The lawmakers may need to work hard how to secure the values of individuals and groups in way to keep better the positive values in society. Democracy is an amorphous system, then, very difficult to be structured in way to reproduce positive values only. At the same time, it is the best context of positive values that in turn has made democracy the most accepted political system.
