Muhammad Ali is ailing and could die soon, according to his brother. The legendary boxer has been in frail health for some time now, and the Daily Mail on Feb. 3 shares that sources indicate things are getting worse by the day.
The Daily Mail says that Rahman Ali fears that Muhammad Ali is ailing rapidly and may not make it much longer. The champ has been dealing with Parkinson’s since 1984, and his most recent appearances showed a man severely struggling with his health. According to Muhammad’s brother, the champion is no longer able to recognize his brother or speak. Rahman goes so far to say he thinks his brother could die in months or even days.
Sadly, it seems that the family is butting heads over access to the boxing champion in these days of decline. Rahman Ali claims that Muhammad’s wife of 26 years, Lonnie, will not let family visit at this point. At this time Lonnie has declined to comment on the claims. Fans are sad to hear of Muhammad Ali’s failing, and hope that the family can come together during these difficult times.
