Muhammad Ali isn't ailing, as some rumors seemed to indicate early on Sunday (Feb. 3). According to a report from Sunday night, Ali's family has denied that he is near death. This is great news, because quite a few rumors had suggested that he was basically at death's door when it came to his health.
Ali's son-in-law apparently took to Twitter to put an end to some of the rumors. One of his posts consisted of a photo with Ali wearing a Baltimore Ravens jersey. He was definitely enjoying the 2013 Super Bowl and not sitting in a hospital bead worried about his health.
The rumors seemed to have begun with the Sun reporting that Ali's brother Rahman stating that his brother was having health problems. It turns out that Rahman hasn't even seen Muhammad since last summer, so that pokes a lot of holes in the stories floating around the internet Sunday morning.
It's good to note that Muhammad Ali isn't ailing and that he should be around for a while. It also shows the dangers of internet rumors, because once one source begins reporting false information, many more seem to end up jumping on the news before confirming the facts.
