Is boxing legend Muhammad Ali ailing? The news of him being near death apparently are greatly exaggerated. The boxing champion was participating in what most of America was doing on Sunday by watching the Super Bowl. Trying to clear up the rumors, daughter May May Ali has shared with the Los Angeles Times on Monday that Muhammad was had a quiet weekend.
"He's fine; in fact, he was talking well this morning," said May May Ali in a telephone interview regarding her father. Very protective of their father, the family seems to keep the man well-guarded around press to avoid too many rumors.
While few people have the privilege to see Muhammad Ali, the rumor actually started with his family as his brother talked to a British newspaper who printed the quote. As social media can move quickly, it appears that people didn't ask those folks caring for the boxer and immediately started sharing the misinformation.
