If your next road trip has you heading west, from Cincinnati to the heart of Indiana, a must stop for dinner or lunch should be the Mug-n-Bun drive-in restaurant. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Mug-n-Bun has been a local institution for over 50 years.

When you stop by the Mug-n-Bun, you have to try one of their famously huge pork tenderloin sandwiches. They are big on size, but even bigger on taste. Another menu favorite is their grilled cheeseburger, a classic grilled cheese sandwich with a hamburger patty. If your are extremely hungry, try one of their Super Burgers.

A great accompaniment  to any sandwich is one of their fried sides, with choices including everything from French fries to fried mushrooms to mozzarella sticks. Some of the favorites with the kids are their mini corn dogs and sweet potato fries. Whatever drive-in fare you like, chances are the Mug-n-Bun has it on their menu. Of course, any meal at the Mug-n-Bun is not complete without a frosted mug of their homemade rootbeer to wash things down.

Nothing says summer road trip better then pulling up to a classic drive-in, ordering a cheeseburger or pork tenderloin sandwich, adding a side of fries, then sipping on a cool mug of rootbeer. And, there is no place better to enjoy this classic summer meal then the Mug-n-Bun, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
