A cold front and associated area of low pressure will settle south of the region today and a moist east-southeasterly flow off the Atlantic Ocean will keep considerable clouds and even some spotty drizzle or sprinkles in place today, especially this morning, along with much cooler temperatures. High pressure will begin to build into the region tonight and into Thursday.

Dry and pleasant weather is expected for Thursday as high pressure takes control, before another cold front and associated upper level disturbance approaches the region on Friday with a renewed chance of showers and thunderstorms. Depending on how things evolve, some of the storms could become strong.
